From his collaboration with Dali on Un Chien Andalou in 1928 to his last film That Obscure Object of Desire in 1977, Bunuel's work was always passionate, subversive and entertaining. Arena goes in search of the spirit of this elusive and original man. The film traces his life through Spain, Paris, New York and Mexico and visits his closest friends, his collaborators, his favourite monastery and his favourite bars.
